Killing Floor Updated!

I have tested all 100 maps that i have and it looks like to me that all perk advancement has stoped, but seem to work on there maps. So just when we we see a whitelist for the maps? Plus another update that allows us to use the maps. In my Opinion Tripwire is saying "This is our game not yours so stop useing it to do what you want. If you dont like it dont buy it"

As for the last part, I think you are mistaken. The devs are merely trying to remove an element from the game that a) wasn't intended and, 2) is unfair to those who don't exploit the system.

I've been playing the whole day and I'm very happy because of all the teamwork I've witnesed, and also now the servers are not populated only by "support" =)

Ive seen actual proper use of classes like berserkers tanking crouched in the entrances, medics taking care of the berserkers supports keeping eye on doors and that kind of stuff

=)

As a downside, Supports are starting to become pretty rare, as they're not nearly as good against Skrakes now...

True. And as part of a team, they can own hard that way. But with pub games, teamwork isn't usually employed as it should be and most pub supports tend to 'go it alone' on big game like Fleshies and Skrakes.

Now, all they'll do against Fleshies and Skrakes is rage them, which will usually get them killed... This was always the case with Fleshies, but now, with Skrakes doing it too, a lot of Supports are starting to get that same "I'm useless against big stuff" feeling that Commandos and Firebugs know so well...

Post-patch, I see more Berserkers than anything, simply because you can easily stun the Skrake/Decap the Fleshie with the chainsaw...

In my opinion, the support specialist was amazing and is now less amazing. The commando was crappy and is now less crappy, but still crappy and not a standalone class. The Sharpshooter seems to have gotten the most benefit here, and the Firebug got some much needed improvements to capacity and reload. But the medic? He got the biggest shaft I've ever seen. His speed bonus wasn't THAT amazing, but that and the armor were the only things he has going for him. He CANNOT kill things, so its logical that he can run around faster and fix everyone everywhere whilst avoiding the bad guys.

Improvements to the scrake and fleshpound... Scrake it totally bs now, might as well be fleshpound, and anyone who says, 'yeah but he can still be stunned' clearly hasn't run into one by himself without a handy chainsaw lying around. Fleshpound, that is total bs. The whole point of the thing is that its bad if its damaged. They just changed the whole purpose of its rage. Strategy Involved? Hell they pretty much can't be killed on solo anymore. And if you do get them then everything else will get you still because you just got so jacked that there's no coming back.

Essentially the changes are out there to screw anybody not operating with a full team of diverse classes.

And as a final bit. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET THE NEW SKINS UNLOCKED?

and that's why its awesome, thats what the game is about and the medic is called medic for a reason, people chose medic just to kite monsters, now the medic is what its supposed to be, and yes you can kill things as a medic just not as good as the others. the job of the medic is to keep the team alive not to abandon it to do laps around the map

lets face it, before they can start adding stuff we really want they had to make sure the lametards stopped ruining the game with leveling exploits and grinding maps.

I'm pretty sure 90% of the people play would rather they start adding stuff like new weapons and content. Most people don't care about the exploits and 'lametards' using grinding maps because it really doesn't effect them.

Now obviously being a low budget game with a single game mode makes it a stale game very quickly. If you don't do something to liven it up then the playerbase will slowly fade away (let's face it there are the same amount of people playing plants vs zombies).

Anyhow, when it came out I was of the opinion that KF had a good chance to survive up there with left4dead, but there hasn't really been anything done at all to stop the game getting stale, and left4dead 2 is around the corner, so unfortunately it will probably be stuck with a player base of dedicated hardcore players.
