See title. The official maps don't work too well for servers with more than 6 players. Nothing crazy is needed, just something more suited for between 10 and 20 players, maybe 30.

you would need a building the size of the manor to fit 30 players in a trader room and have them all get out again...

True, but I have seen a server of 60 plus work together and get everyone to the trader by being orderly in under 60 seconds
Only the trader's room size needs to be doubled, two entrances maybe, and a bigger door. That is the key.

My upcoming map is suited for more then 6 players, the only problem is the trade rooms aren't that big...

Was on with 10 or so people, it worked fine. Just have to buy and get out fast so people can fit in, which isn't really hard. The trader room is really small.

Is that supposed to be an argument or a statement? If an argument, it's a pretty poor one; this game and its maps are meant to be played with 6 players therefore you shouldn't try it with more. What about all the people who want to play with 8, 10 or more players? Looking at the amount of players on the 6+ servers they certainly aren't a minority. If a statement, why are you stating the obvious?

The map I'm working on, in it's completed state, could probably easily hold 30 players. I'm not sure about modding the trader though.

Although the game does officially only support 6 players, it is quite fun to change my server to around 30 slots for a map or two. A few maps that have bigger trader rooms/open trader rooms (like heresy, and arcade-action), would be awesome though
