Custom Maps?

I have been playing KF almost straight now and lets face it I'm a little bored of the maps . I have seen a few threads now refering to custom maps but have not seen a link to a website hosting these maps nor map name references. Does anyone know where I can find some of these maps to throw on my server?

Can you use custom maps and still rank up perks? And I don't know any sites to download map, sorry. There is a level design part of this forum though try there.

There are a few custom maps, I played some on servers. You connect and it downloads automatically...

You also have to remember the map editor just came out a few days ago, so you can't really expect too many great maps to be out yet.

yeah, give it time... there will be TONS of custom maps in the near future...

and you can download them through the game

there is one website that has a few maps on it already, its in the mapping section.. i forgot the link though.

I understand you can download maps from servers but I want to put them on my server. So I need all the files to upload. Thats why I was hoping for a website to download the pack etc.

The best thing I've found so far would be digging in the levels forum under the mods section. I've found a few threads (you'll know them by their names, named after levels) which depict upcoming custom levels or include links to already released levels. I've found this to be a reliable way of finding custom levels (though only a few out right now) since finding them this way gives you the thoughs of players who've downloaded the map before you do.

So far that I've found Prison, The Hive, and Sherwood Forest mods work. I've not tested any others yet.

There is also KF-Prison, I downloaded it, but can't find it here on the forum.

They offer that you can upload your custom maps, but there aren't any at the moment.

Btw custom maps are in the level design section of the forums check there rather than here to find them
