Make Player Names Bigger

I find it soooo hard to see what player I'm looking at unless their name is under 7 characters. I suggest trying to fix this somehow.

and short names seem to show up huge sometimes. pretty stupid.
please normalize name size no matter how long it is
my friend got a 12 letter name and its unreadable unless i m standing right next to him ...

AGREED! I can't read long names at all (too small) but short names are fine (too big), it should be the other way around.

Scalable name font

As stated above, the length of a player's name should not scale the font.
In the link, "Hi" name was the size of the player whereas players with names over 10 letters are illegible.

Changing the player name in the Steam Settings (Shift-Tab) while in game, does change the name viewed in Steam Friends etc but does not change the name above the player.

console setinfo name "name" works I believe.

Reminds me of how i tired to warn someone of a Fleshpound approaching from behind... but i couldn't read the tiny name...

so i screamed "FP BEHIND!! FP BEHIND!! FP!!! GUY WITH AXE!!!! AXE BOY!!!! AXE DUDE!!!" then he got killed...

lol HayHayHay - I totally agree, PLUS: make very short Player names smaller - had a dude in the team, called Joe - his name was nearly double size

Sorry to play Devil's Advocate. There's a problem with this suggestion. Have you ever been a sharpshooter behind your comrades in a hallway? Go on, try it. See the problem?

The Health bar, the Armor bar, and the names of your fellow players will be blocking your view. Bigger names will make this an even bigger problem.

I would prefer being able to actually change the name within KF. "Setname XXX" does not work with KF, because it will only use the Steam name. Can't they just let you change the name in-gane rather than in steam? It works with Red Orchestra....why not in Killing floor?

I agree, but as well as making names bigger,

PLEASE make the health bars smaller, I'm trying to snipe zombies, but I cant see their heads through the damn health bars...

I say sniping, i mean shooting a cross bow... Need a Lee-Enfield or another sniper for sharpshooters
