Forgive my abruptness but i really hope the other project's primary focus is the PC and not the 360/PS3.

I think it's fine if they develop for the 360, which according to there sites hiring page they are most likely doing (required experience releasing 360 titles etc.). But I hope they stay far away from the PS3. I know many developers needed a separate team/release date because it's architecture is so different from typical PC.

I don't care what console its released for, just as long as the realism, scope and detail is not sacrificed for the console crowd.

Valve seem to have struck a good balance. Though their games are not really complicated enough to really matter what platform its released on. They still feel native to the PC.

Hmm, not wanting to rain on anyones parade, honestly: But this is somewhat disappointing for me. No, I did not expect RO2 to be announced, unlike maybe some others here. But with all the micro hype that was built up over the last weeks I was hoping at least for some info about the UE3 game. Not some screenies about a UE2 "mod-buyout".

Good luck for this game (esp. concerning the all too similar and heavy L4D competition) as well as their devs.

Now some info about the real GAME 2 please?
