Is there a hot key for announcing your position to your team mates? Can some one give me a link to communication hot keys?

You can bind them to any key you would like.
But you can give tank commands over the numpad for example 8 (on the numpad) is forward and 2 reverse etc pretty handy

Thanks for the reply! I see the key binding options in the configuration menu, but when I play online I sometimes see teammates' names and their location on the map on the screen. I assumed players are using the "Team Say" key and a hotkey combination, but I can't see a key to bind that to. Maybe they are typing that out longhand on the keyboard... I think it's helpful to know what your teammates are up to. I can't survive very long as it is, if I'm fumbling around on the keyboard I might as well be a POW.

Yes, there is teamchat (default key is "Y") and there is a global chat (default key "X"?) which everybody can read, if you are not a fast typer learn it or keep reading

Got it. The "team say" key followed by a simple period announces your name and location to your team.
