the best medieval game i have ever played is no doubt "SAGA the rage of the vikings"

it's a rts game, with some fanatastic features like trolls or elves and dwarfs, but in general it was awesome

you played this`?
i bought in on a software pyramid for 5 euros 2003 or so
but never played it
i thought it was crap ^^

Sorry to be off topic but the game Dead Space, the futuristic suit that the main character wears is based off medieval knight armour but with fancy neon lights added onto it.

As already mentioned, Mount&Blade's a great game. No magic, orcs, ogres, trolls, elves, or nasty fat hobbits!

Havent played in awhile, but iirc, you can set a minimum/maximum tech level, and use that to keep it medieval.

Yes, but the point is AOE1 is in the classical period and AOE3 is in the colonial period (maybe napolenic idk, never played it), but neither are in anyway set in medieval tiems, or if it come to that in the middle ages either.
