I prefer Yahtzee. While I find myself agreeing with most points of both guys, Yahtzee's method of presentation has me actually laughing out loud, whereas this guy just has me nodding sombre agreement.

He's too console oriented to be very interesting to me to be honest, since I've never played those games.

At least the PC and Amiga had GOOD Indy Jones games, the graphic adventures from Lucasarts are classics.

When the AVGN gets pissed he doesn't sound like it at all and is basically just stringing together dirty words.

Yeah Yahtzee's far more hilarious and creative when it comes to insults, cursing etc.

Stringing together four letter words does not equal funny. I still do find AVGN funny though, just not when he's getting "pissed".

AVGN is ok for a laugh or two, but the fun really comes from revisiting thouse old games and having a laugh at how bad they really where, not so much the childish antics and tantrums of the AVGN.

He simply tries too hard, and his vids can quickly degenrate into child like slap-stick humour and swear words, and it all seems a little too forced and staged.

But i like him, when he just sticks to showing us crappy games and commenting on their levels of crap, thats good fun, but i am not terribly fond of his staged tantrums and slap stick antics.
Just stick to the games mate, thats what we want.

I think the 'act' of the Nerd itself is a bit overdone, but he has some really good points on most games. And I really like his movie reviews on Cinemassacre aswell.
