I always wondered what the following piece of music was called, and now I finally found out the name of it.

This is an orchestral version of Polyushko Pole ("Little Field") by Lev Konstantinovich Knipper (1898-1974) from his 4th Symphony (1934), with lyrics by Victor Gusev.


In the West, the song is known more popularly as "The Cossack Patrol" or "Meadowlands."
