It has been another hectic few weeks in the run up to Christmas for the developers over at Dark-Light Games. We do however have several very exciting updates to bring. First and foremost it was with great surprise that we found out that Darkest Hour (along with Mare Nostrum) had made the final 100 mods in the MODDB Mod of the Year Awards. Trailer:
The second piece of news this month is our new teaser trailer! Shot by myself (Aeneas2020) and directed and edited by Harvey this trailer provides some insight into what we have been so busy with over the last few months. This is only the beginning of what is to be a regular video spot for Darkest Hour, with short movies to show you how things are progressing as we grind onwards to release. WOW, This is RO with a fresh new outlook. No lie the trailer on Utube was really jaw dropping. Love the skins and textures. The tanks could almost pass for the real deal. Amazing job to all who have worked on it and to the clans who will be extensively testing.

What impresses me most about these images and videos is that you guys managed to make RO look even better than what I've seen before. I mean there have been very good looking RO maps and models (both custom and official) before, but this looks very fresh.

yeh you'd be surprised how hard it is to get testers to run in a bloody straight line...they also have the patience of your average 2 yr old child. But they're a good bunch and we couldnt have done it without them.
