New Darkest Hour mod media!

I think some of this media has been floating around somewhere on their site, but was hiding in the forums. Now a couple of the last media updates are on the front page, and I must say, this mod is shaping up to be a great addition! Here's a link to their front page that has the media update:

thanks for the bump mate, i keep updating on the DH forums but i havent asked for frontpage for a while. Hopefully this next update will take a little longer to come out but it will be well worth it. That will be frontpage for sure. When DH is released will the new German content be usable for mappers in stock RO?

which new german content are you talking about....other than the pak43 don't expect to get too much german content in release 1 we may sneak in a few other things. After that of course we'll add lots more. As far as using it in custom maps that remains to be seen.

This might be a stupid question but how's it going to be balanced since US infantry will all have semi-auto rifles (garands) and germans will mostly have k98s?

erm you'll have to fight harder, the maps have been based on actual topograhy and the units and their sizes are based on real life examples as close as we can get them in RO's engine so its hard for the germans but in testing the balance is about 50:50 as far as who wins the maps
