Runtime error

I just downloaded this game for the first time, installed it, and validated it.

I started it up and got this runtime error.

Runtime Error

Program: ...m\steamapps\common\red orchestra\System\RedOrchestra.exe


This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the applications support team for more information.

Anything more that I can add? Does my PC just suck?

You're not by any chance using a Radeon 9000 video card are you?

incase you have a dx8 card changing the rederer works but plz try other options out first. Because dx9 renderer performs better usually.

I see if I can try a few more .ini edits and see where that gets me.

try deleting your ro system folder (steam\steamapps\common\red orchestra\system)and verifying cache.

and try deleting the clientregistry.blob file in the main steam directory.

We are investigating some reported issues with the Radeon 9600s - there seems to have been a sudden spate of them. More on this as we get it...
