The OstFront Realism Campaign.

Hitler has ordered his units to place attack challenges in our forums and Stalin asked his comrades to coordinate battles with their counterparts. It looks like a full blown war can't be halted at this point . Though things are unfolding in a remarkably cooperative manner.
We even have admins from both sides referreeing the war

The Ostfront is a campaign were most matches are plaid with very limited respawns ... usually a few or sometimes 1 life per round. We have guidelines to make things more realistic, for ex. there must be min. 2 men per tank.

Do you have to be in a realism clan to join or can it be anyone?

For a unit to join ORC, they must be based on a Russian or German unit that fought in WW2.

You must have ranks, a command structure and realistic names.

May I suggest 3rd Shock Army? Great clan if your on the America/Canada side of the pond, and if your on the other side, I'd suggest ICM, they seem like a bunch of good guys (though they do love their spam).

The only time we knew was 19:00 GMT and when we were there 19 GMT you confused us with "no match, we've been here for 1 hour..." and then 10 mins after that you're suddenly telling us we are having a match, when 50% of our members had left because they didn't think we had any match.

And THIS is why ALL (Russian AND German) realism clans are so misunderstood by the common or garden punter who just wants to play a 'more realistic' version of RO. Might be an idea to continue this on your own ORC forum or another 'neutral' one rather than provide more entertainment on this one.
