That one looks near beyond the possibility of full restoration (at the very least take a lot of very hard work) and appears to have suffered an internal explosion (roof/top of fighting compartment missing)! This one on the other hand is "running" today (of course no where near the condition that of the one pulled out of the salt water was either)! This model was "converted" but is now a true/exact replica of the 1944 German WW II version. Guys in Virginia did a painstaking restoration and it shows!!!!

It seems like every other week some WWII-era tank is being pulled out of a lake, river, or another large body of water in an Eastern European country.

Yeah I swear you can't go for a hike in some parts of Europe without tripping over a semi-buried WW2 AFV.

Imagine finding a T34 in your back paddock!
