Server Map Contest Map Pack - Server Edition

As the recent news says, there is a map content map pack about to be released tomorrow. To help prepare for it we are going to release a server edition packed up and ready for redirects.

I am sending out an email to my server admin list with the link, however I am also accepting PM's for the link if A) you aren't on the list, B) you signed up for the list but don't receive the email sometime tonight.

If we already have the same version of the map on the server will cause conflicts or should we manually remove it from the server?

Most of the maps in the map pack are already "final" versions. And for the ones that aren't, things are in the works that will cause that not to be a problem any more.

I sorry this may seem a silly question I got the email, I've downloaded, though when I uploaded the uz2 files to our server they don't appear on the list (after stoping and restarting), do they need to be decompressed into rom files?

Sorry, missed something here along the way. I'd like to also add this map pack to our servers, am not signed up on any list to receive emails though, including I guess this link for server admins. How do I go about doing this? Thanks.....

Can any Linux server admins confirm they have the new Black Day in July map working? Last version that has worked for us is Beta3, each new version we have tried simply won't show on the map list. One version we did get to show required those extra download bits and when we loaded the map the server just froze.

Got players wanting this map to work but it doesn't seem to like the Linux server much.
