RO in Canada's stores

Hello Tripwire,

My clan want to switch from BF2 to RedOrchestra for the next season, but no-one can find the game on store shelves. I want to know if the boxed version of the game will be available soon in Canada. I know we could buy it from steam (as i did), but some old school gamers prefer to get the CD.

It is available in Ontario. I see it on the shelves at best buy all the time.

Best Buy usually carries it and it shouldnt be a problem locating. The thing is, Steam version is generally a lot cheaper than the store one. Store one Ive seen for 39.99 instead of the odd 24.99 on Steam.

I've seen it at Future Shop here in Ontario.

Currently it's also on their site for $19.99 (Canadian Dollars).

I myself am a Canadian RO player, and I've spent a good while at the nearby LAN centre. At any rate, we have copies at our Futureshop, but I can only really suggest you use Steam to do so. Create mulitple Steam accounts and pay for them to get the cheapest results. Glad to see you guys are making the switch, though. Be sure to have fun.

The box version is available at Future Shop, Best Buy, and EB Games that I've seen here in Vancouver. I'm sure there are more as well.
I concur with the suggestion to buy via Steam as well. No point paying extra for a box and a few sheets of paper that will sit on a shelf for the life of the game. Just Steam pay the game, and play.

Was available in here in Alberta but I've noticed that it isn't always on the shelves anymore.

Assume because it now an "old" release the stores simply didn't restock and put newer releases in its place.

If nothing else , try asking a retailer to special order you however many copies you need. I'm sure they'd oblige.

I live in Montreal, Quebec and I see the boxes all the time in Best buy, Future shop and EbGames. I seldom go to those shops but I saw them there 2 weeks ago.

Go to Angrignon shopping mall. That's where I saw them.
