Twilight Zone

So I got the problem with multiplayer games dumping me by upgrading my router's firmware (http://www.redorchestragame.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7172) but now a new problem was arisen.

I seem to be getting dropped from multiplayer games but the game itself keeps running normally. If I hit F1, I still see everyone's scores listed but there's no one else on the map but me. There are no updates of players being killed, no VOIP or chat messages. There are no bots to be seen.

I have to disconnect and rejoin to correct the problem. So far, it's happened twice and I'm baffled.

Well if you have verified your ro cache, and turned off precaching I am going to go with the assumption that your router might still be the culprit here.

Make sure all the ports RO needs are opened in your router. Also you might want to delete RO off it's allowed list and let it re recognize the program.

thats couse you dont have any precaching, and the stuff load while ur ingame
And what was getting rid of the precaching supposed to do for me again? When the stutter hits, the game is unplayable.

With the router ports open, I'm still getting the Twilight Zone effect. I realize that it has happened when my weapons will no longer affect any targets or they won't even fire at all. Then it becomes apparent that no player killed messages are flashing by and I can't hear anyone on VOIP.

this happens very rarely to me. 1 of a hundred games max. probably its something about your internet connection, maybe your router simply disconnects you completly from the internet?
the not being able to chat bug is something that happened to me in the mod days a few times (when i was in spectator mode, waiting to respawn), but never happened to me in RO OST
