Can I run The SDK from DVD

Is there a way that I can burn all necessary files to a DVD and be able to run the SDK from the DVD? obviously saving to my local drive.

Not as far as I know; log files are written and a whole torrent of other **** is changed on the fly while UED is running.

Newb Question: I have two computers, one with RO and the SDK installed and the other computer with nothing installed. Is it possible to copy the SDK only (not the game) from the first computer to the second and have the SDK work on the second computer?

I should not even be in this forum.
If you make something with the SDK and you want to run it, you switch to the game.

I see a "closing" message, and then the level starts.
When I quit, I quit RO, not the SDK.
The SDK is still alive ..

Newb answer = NO !

Newb answer, you need your valid Steam account running !

You can run the SDK without being connected to steam. Doing it all the time.
You can just start the roed.exe
Could possibly be that you would have to copy the steam.dll in to your system folder (sits in the valve folder iirc).
