i really starting too like the sounds in arma (except for the jets)

Those bullet sounds are great, pretty realistic (although ive never been shot at). Is this the only game where the bullet has made a 'crack' as it flys past?

Funnily noone noticed the "HDR Audio" in OFP...
Very subtle, but it is there. Just take a AH-1 and fly a low attack. Listen to the sound of the rotor before, during and after the rockets explode

Ok thanks. I don't know anything about different cards. But my fps ****s in most games so it's time for a new.I think that upgrade would be a good idea
The 7600GT is an excellent card, roughly the same power as a 6800 Ultra.

There are a ton of videos on armed assualt zone, one is almost 200 mbs but its very very good.

That is some nice radio chatter.
Looking at some of their effects, although their nice, theyre lacking ferocity/intensity. Like that airstrike, those explosions should have been camera shaking, fast explosions with a lot of dust/dirt lingering for a while. Same goes for the artillery strikes, the explosion just kinda fumes up (theyre lacking any kind of explosions/flames).
All in all, they still look real good and they are much better than OFP's.

I had the same problem with the videos.. tried IE and it worked.
I agree about the explosions. As well as the really corny way that the buildings fall to the ground.. Hopefully they will fix that. Other than that I can't wait for ArmA!!!
