Not sure why this happens...

This bothers me a bit. When I play at 1024x768 somes theres tiny hiccups. Every about one second it skips, I don't really know how to explain this but after a while it goes away I'm pretty sure... until a new map is loaded. My computer specs aren't fantastic.

Pentium 4 3.0 GHz
1 Gig ram
Geforce FX 5600 256Mb
I have about 22 processes and no spyware.

Yeah I think it does. It happens with some other games as well sometimes (IL2 Sturmovik)
It doesn't really bother me but I wanted to know why this happens

Only when you play at 1024x768?if not check your cpu temperature and your
geforce temp.. too.
try to uninstall your graphic card drivers and install the latest ones also install
the latest direct x 9.0c october 2006.

I forgot. You're right. I figured this out a long time ago but I forgot... lol.
My CPU doesn't have any thermal paste and this only happens after prolonged gaming. Happened a lot during the summer.
