Campaign 1 of Iron Crescendo is fast approaching!!!

That's right. The beta campaign has ended with a German victory and soon Campaign 1 will be ready. Our site is practically done and the forums have been swiped clean for the upcoming campaign. As we speak both sides and the admins are preparing themselves for a long and exciting campaign.
This time for the tournament the German members have chosen the 18th Panzergrenadier Division under XXXIX Panzerkorps. As for the Russian members, they've chosen the 35th Guards Rifle Division under 8th Guards Army.
So, now is the perfect time to go to our site and register and choose which side to join. If you're frustrated and dissapointed with regular old pub playing then join Iron Crescendo for the best experience you can ever have in Red Orchestra.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO AT LEAST LOOK INTO IT.

My BEST RO Teamplay experience was down there !

you sign up for a team on the actual site this time. you have to register and sign up for a team to the left of the page where it says 'Registration'.

you join a ROOST server bring down your console (~) and type listplayers
a 17 digit number will appear next to your name, copy that down (if the number is onl 9 or 10 digit long try another server), go to the IC site on the left side there is a registration button (this comes after you register on the forums) click that if your already registered on the forums then this link will just ask your for your 17 digit number and which team you want

Try using IE...there are some issues with Firefox that are being ironed out.

I thought I heard only servers running windows give the 17digit number, the ones running linux give 9 digit ones.

Or download a FF extention called IETab and set ironcrescendo.net as a page that renders with IE by default.

I use Firefox and it isn't a problem. I just type my name and password in at the bottom of the forums and press enter. No problems here, although it was a pain earlier. It should all be sorted out in due time.

8 hours long? Is that for one map? or is that the total time it takes to play all the maps in this tournament?

8 hours is for two maps. First on saturday you play map A for 4h then map B for 4h and then the same again on sunday. But you don't have to be there for the whole time ofcourse, you can come and go when you want.

the maps of 1 day are 8 hours long its your choice to play the full day a campaign is several months. You can play for an hour or less or just stay the entire night.
