ok i have Windows Live One Care (i didnt want it my stepdad bought it instead of the norton 2006 update) and now it wont let xfire connect to the ****ing internet. does any one know what i can do cause i dont really want to turn off the firewall

stupid live one care made me uninstall it so no i cant. and its doing it again today (i posted this yesterday) i keep telling it to unblock but its still giving me the message that its blocking it

Uninstall that junk. You don't need it.

Download Spybot: Search & Destroy, along with Adaware. Those will take care of any **** that happens to get onto your computer.

Spybot also features a program called TeaTimer, which allows you to customize what programs are blocked and blacklisted from starting on bootup or running in general.

Again, those are my recommendations. Free software, easy to use, and very good at what they do.
