It would be helpful to be able to shoulder your weapon without having to look through the iron sights. Like in the upcoming rnl mod.

Yeah that would be nice, but the ability to look above the IS of the MGs should be added first. That would probably make the MGs much more effective, because a lot of times it's hard to see your target when the iron sights are blocking half the screen.

I like that, but I think it would be used alot instead of running with the gun at the hip.
Maybe impliment it where you can shoulder the weapon, but it slows you down a little.

That's beautiful. You bring IS up and moving forward goes at walking speed like it does now. But when you press sprint, your character jogs with the sights lowered and bouncing around a lot and brings them back up automatically when you let go of sprint. If you want to actually sprint with the sights down, you press the IS button again while holding sprint, and you sprint. I love this idea.

So basicly you can have your weapon shouldered (not IS though) at jogging speed in exchange for stamina usage just like sprinting? Imho that would be the perfect solution for a more fluent usage of iron sights, smgs and pistols would finally be usable the way they are supposed to. Yay!

I agree with Denwad, there should be three speeds, walking with IS up, jogging while looking over IS, and sprinting with gun at the hip. If you brought up IS and then moved foreward, you would walk, then if you hit sprint while still in IS, you would jog, then if you hit sprint and put the IS down you would sprint.
