Find your redorchestracommon.gcf and your redorchestraclient.gcf in your steam aps folder and copy them to somewhere else. Then uninstall steam and reinstall it onto your other HD, then copy the two files back into your new steamaps folder on the other HD.
I have the same question, but I don't fully understand this solution.
Are you saying that steam will then automatically move the whole of my RO folder and contents (2.25Gb) to the new drive without me having to worry about it? Or must I then manually move it back to it's folder under steamapps\etc\etc ?
However, since the steam client patch there won't be any .cfg files, it's all under steam apps/common/Red Orchestra and there are some ncf files which need to be moved as well.
When I wanted to do this, I just copied and pasted my ENTIRE steam folder from one drive to the other, changed my shortcuts, and deleted clientregistery.blob. Worked fine.
