Is - Svt-40

For those of you that have never fired a pistol cal carbine or a 22 and are still convinced that the video is of a .22 conversion then go here:

http://www.ppsh41.com/mpg.html

As you can plainly see, the muzzle does not rise up into the air like it does in the game. The 9mm conversion is going to have basically the same recoils as the 7.62x25 round, maybe even more since the bullet is heavier. The other videos are of 7.62x25 weapons. 22 my ass.

They also have a 9mm conversion. AFAIK a 22LR conversion does not even exit. Who is the brainchild that came up with the idea that there are 22 conversions for full auto SMGs anway?

First one posted is same video I have and it IS NOT A 22.

Second link does nothing for me.

GRU.51, have you ever shot a rifle ever in your life?

Yes I have, quite a few actualy. What does me having shot a weapon before have to do with anything? I have a MN91/30, M44, Mauser and an Enfield MKI hanging in my bedroom. (among others) And those videos are quite old now, this matter has been discused to death in various forums (militaryphotos.net) THAT VIDEO IS A .22 CONVERSION!

I happen to have a video of a PPSH41 and PPS43 being fired and it has some considerable recoil. kicks the guy back almost 6" from a very quick burst, can only imagine how wild that thing would go on full auto. I'll cut the video and upload it, around 19mb.

Ya, that video is not of a .22 converion, do you see how much effort he is putting in to PULLING DOWN?!?!?!?! Thats what your mouse is for.

A .22 has about zero kick and enough that even the woman firing it wouldnt have had that much recoil.

Perhaps a tad less recoil would be nice, but honestly I'd rather see slightly me accuracy over range while prone than less recoil while standing unsupported.

OMFG!

Dear GRU.51, you still seem to be confused on this issue.

The photo you posted IS NOT a 22 conversion. It IS NOT a PPSH. It is a completely different commercialy produced civilian weapon. There are many PPSH "look alikes" but NO PPSH 22 CONVERSION.

I say again, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A 22 CONVERSION for the PPSH. And FYI, the American 180 IS ALSO NOT a conversion.

Do you even know what a conversion is? Apparently not.

I agree.

Recoil is also still way too high.

I own a refurbed SVT40 and it barely has any recoil at all. In-game the SVT has more recoil than a Mosin Nagant M44 and that is totally wrong IMHO.

well im more interested, if you can shoot the Semi-automatic rifles (G43-Svt40) realy that fast, like in game ... it feels by times near a machinepistol or so ... but i never fired one, so i dont know it.

well the question is, are aou able to do that in real live or not ? As from any video i have seen about the Svt and G43, no one fires them near as fast like here. But as said ... im just curious, if it is possible or not.

Yes it is possible. The reason people do not shoot them that fast is because they need to re-align their sights on the target.

Now in the case where you are in a building or retreating and need cover fire, you don't really need to aim and this would be an area where you would rapid fire an SVT, Garand, G43 etc.

There is a reason they were more popular than the bolt guns they replaced.

You'll have idiots running around with SVT-40s bumpfiring like they're SKSs with purposely dirty firing pins so they slam fire and go full auto.

And this is bad because?

Rapid fireing an SVT inside the East Farm House last night saved my life.

Again, there is a reason why your average Soldat swaped his K98k for an SVT or PPSH without blinking if one were available too him.
