my tank driver called majestic had an idea of smoke shells. read here for german tactics of smoke shells i need them in the game ;-) http://www.lonesentry.com/articles/smokeshelltactics/index.html
smoke grenades are crap no good for tanks you have to get out of the tank to use one and then you die. and not very rank has themI think the smoke grenades are enough. I don't think we need more smoke.

hello Rommel GOOD POST we badly need smoke generating capablities for tanks i love shells betterMost German tanks had smoke generators on them from the Panzer III to the Tiger II.
In fact on the Tiger I you can plainly see the smoke emitters on the side of the turret.
Soviet tanks on the other hand did not have smoke generating capablities.
well done i did not see it its a good picture to get an idea ;-) also it has all this things wow http://www.lonesentry.com/intelbulletin/index_subject.htmlhey karl I was still editing that but thanks um Ironically i took that pic from the lonesentry-lol
The T-28 had smoke generators, as did some other tanks. I'm pretty sure the T-34 did not, many models of the Pz III and IV also did not (some did, not sure about which models exactly).Soviet tanks on the other hand did not have smoke generating capablities.
many models of the Pz III and IV also did not....
The T-28 had smoke generators....
well i dont really know about the ruskies but we need them for both sideswell, did the russians have smoke shells?? then both sides could have some sort of "tank-smoke".
well i need smoke shells so every time tanks try to out flank me i can just fire one off and get out of trouble as fast as i got into itKV1 and post 43' t32s both had smoke shells, but not smoke generators or smoke dischargers.
Tigers and panthers had smoke shells and smoke dischargers but not smoke generators.
A smoke shell is fired like a normal ap/he shell
A smoke discharger fires small smoke generators with limited ammounts of smoke
A smoke generator uses the engine to generate endless smoke (these where very rare with 1940's tanks)
