Hangs on "Querying master server"

Can't connect either, I was thinking it had something to do with the SDK as I opened it up last night for the first time with Vs 1016.
I built the tutorial map and played it.
Just now it its gone on the blink/wont work, I've checked the files etc..

Tried to play RO (to make sure all was working)...Cannot connect please try later, I had a "Steam is to busy to handle your request" once !

Is the master server DOWN ?

hehe found a way around it, if you have xfire installed on you systems look for a contact that is in game and try and connect to them through xfire, worked for me . Would still like to select the server though *hint to the staff *.

if the master server is evil just add alot of servers to your favorites list:

go to:

c:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\red orchestra\system

open up RedOrchestra.ini

press Control + F to start a search

type in favorites and press enter

then scroll down till you're at the last of the favorites then past this list behind it:

i'll make a new list for you all with all new servers soon

Its possible to connect through Favorites and the list is pretty handy.
Now I just gota sort out my SDK problem!

Add me to the list. I can't connect to master server now. It seems to change on daily basis. I have had never this problem before the "free trial" started and now it happens occasionaly. I haven't changed anything, no firewall, nothing...

You can add a server to your favorites, Zetsumei has given the details in his list.

I had this same problem come up literally overnight. Is this going to get fixed on its own or am I going to have to **** around with settings?

Me too, can connect to favorite servers but Master server is unresponsive

Ok I just refreshed the main server list, it works !
I don't know if its because I first connected through Favorites or if the Master server had or has a problem.
Try it !

Ramm fixed 1 master server already so this is probably too late already but you could manually add 1 server to your favourites ingame just pick a ip from the list then close the game and then you'd find the favourites.

IF you already have 1 favorite you could just add it below the list if you had none you'd have to place it in the correct location which is harder to explain so i didn't bother

Well I am now able to contact master server again, I guess it was just a temporary issue their side. One things for sure, Im gonna fill favourites up since this may be a reaccuring problem.

Yes, I was having this problem as well last night/this morning but it does seem to have resolved itself. Just to let TW know that it wasn't an isolated case...

One of the Master servers died on us this morning. It is now back up.
