Not quite in the Eastern Front, as "Der Untergang" (The Downfall) outlines the final days of the Third Reich, with Hitler going crazy and all (great acting by Bruno Ganz, btw, he really does look like him...). However, it does deal with the Russian attack into Berlin, so I guess it classifies as an "Eastern Front" movie.

Der Untergang hase some great fights in Berlin. Talvisota is also great (though I didn't know what they were saying, I didn't had subtitles). It's about the Winterwar 1939 Finland - USSR. Has a lot of great fights.

Stalingrad is awesome the english dubbed version isnt to bad it doesnt really matter which version you get its the same movie just a differnt soundtrack, you still get the gorey action

Hmm... not that it's an extremely good movie, but enemy at the gates is eastern front

Stalingrad is very good movie.

Talvisota is nice.

it might not be eastern front, but I liked the movie, because of the nice nature sequenses and people who are dying very slowly so you can almost feel sorry for the guys.

but i heard the regisseur (or the guy who wrote the story, dont know exactla, at least it was someone important) didnt like the movies intention after it had been cut (censored?) and said it wasnt a good film anymore. you can read about it somewhere. i d really like to see it uncut.

Almost any Soviet/Russian WW2 movie is about the Eastern Front, understandably.

Some of my faves:
- Come and See
- The Dawns Here are Quiet
- Father of a Soldier
- Ballad of a Soldier
- Destiny of a Man

These films do not have furious action sequences you guys are probably looking for. Instead, they concentrate more about the lives affected by war.
