After Update Cant play game

hi i just updated my red orchestra and im getting this error,

i have no idea what to do so can someone help me?

well buddy i wish i could help but i cant, but you can do what i do: un-install RO, and steam while your at it, from you start menu, the go the your computer/programfiles/steam and erase the hell out of it. then you can re-install the whole game. see a have become an expert in this field,lol and until something is done about it we will get the same error over and over again.

i play online alot so i dont wanna have to update my game again.
this update was like hour to finsh..

Can you post your redorchestra.log here after that error, that will hopefully tell us where RO is having problems.

And have you verified the cache?

I'm having a problem, which is probably unrelated. The patch installed allright, but Steam says RO is downloading. It's managed to hang at 99 percent, for 5 hours and counting. It'll connect, and dl at 856 bytes/sec for 3 or 4 seconds, then it disconnects. I know my connection sucks but damn.

Looks like you have some extra character in the commandline which isn't supposed to be there.

Check your desktop link.

log out of steam, then log in agian, you should switch to a different download server and you can continue your download from there.

I've tried that several times, along with pausing the download and starting it up again.

delete ClientRegistry.blob in the steam folder
start up steam agian and log in again.

Same thing, it'll start at about 4kb, then drop to nothing. Love RO, hate Steam.

Lu looks like you have extra text in your start up command. Right click on the RO launcher, go to properties and make sure there isn't extra text there.

Boris submit a steam support ticket if that doesn't clear up. Steam support should be able to get you past that.

this is what i have for the ro icon -
"C:\Program Files\Steam\steam.exe" -applaunch 1200

i know its right since i played with it fine before the update.
btw why cant tripwire just put the updates for download?
without the steam auto update

Nahh open steam go to games, RO properties, set launch options and see if anything is in there. If not try launching RO right out of steam.
