RO-Lyeskrovy has no allied bolts

It's amazing, but the new RO map has NO bolt rifles on russian side.
So as bolt player I'm forced to play with an smg.
It really takes the fun out of being a russain on that map IMO.
Ah well, I'll play as german then.
I'm just curous why this is done ?

Dunno, but this map shows how effective the SMG's actually are.

Too bad for all the bolties, but it surely caters the smg-audience (and of course the flock of new players in august who can do what they are acustomed to in other shooters: run & gun ).

What are you talking about? Its a fun map to play, not unrealistic, either.

If you dont like it, dont play it.

Great map indeed, altough i woulnd't have mind to see the soviet bolties.
But on the other hand, it's interesting to play a SMG raid squad

The RGD style smoke nade makes me hungry for the RGD33

Adding bolt action rifles to the Russians would ruin the pace of this map. It's fast, it's furious, it's intense and I love it.

The Russians used smg's on a very wide scale so its not unrealistic not to see rifles and some maps.

Good, it will give me a chance to practice my smg skills, as I suck at them and are so much better with a bolt. Keep the great maps a'comin'!!!

I got 39 kills as the Russian Sniper with a bolt action rifle over 2 1/2 rounds.

It counts....Right?


And before people complain about being a points-whore, a lot of those kills were German MG-gunners laying covering fire.
