Does anyone here have interest of other periods of history, because the only things that get discussed here are about ww2 or 1 lol, i personnaly love the medieval period and the 16th to 18th centuries, so would anyone else like to discuss something other than ww 2 or 1 :D

Mine is the Polish Interwar Years, and mostly Polish history. I also like the US Civil War.

Wow. That's some family history. I had an uncle who was executed by the NKVD at the Katyn Forest but that isn't nowhere near as awesome as that.

I am besides WW2 also interested in WW1, but my biggest interest is Eastern Europe (Poland and Russia) during the early medieval time period 1000-1250 AD. It is also my hobby, see my topic on these forums http://www.redorchestragame.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10485

I am also interested in the Dutch "Golden Age" during the 16th-17th century when my country was a naval superpower when we had heroes such as admiral Tromp and admiral de Ruyter who beat the crap out of the British during the Dutch-British naval wars, admiral de Ruyter also sailed up the Thames and towed away the British navy's flagship to Holland. Holland was at that time with Great Britain a naval superpower back then, we got into a naval war with them, we beat the crap out of them and later they won one naval battle too and we lost New York (at that time still called New Amsterdam)see also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anglo-Dutch_War
