Very impressive indeed!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It would be nice if he could also show actual live videos on all his weapons being fired while aiming down the sight.

That is something I have been thinking about. But I have no idea how to set it up without spending a ton of money on camera gear.

If you have a sugestion for a camera that'll provide a decent frame rate, depth of field and can be mounted close to the eye, I'd really appreciate it.

I see he has yet to fix the Kar98k sights...

What part do you want fixed? The lack of a sight hood, or the fact that the sights are off.

On the sight hood, that is correct for my 1937 dated rifle. I am looking for a nice post '41 rifle with the sight hood but they are getting increasingly rare here (talking about all matching non-RC rifles).

You could shoulder the rifle and have someone else hold the camera down the sights. All you would have to do is tilt your head to the side and let them do the aiming. Once it is on target start recording and pull the trigger. I tried something like that awhile back. I didn't spend much time with it though, so it's more of a shouldered view than a sights film. I don't think your camera, or mine would have the resolution for it though.

You could do the aiming yourself if you feed the camera to a monitor off to the side. :D

I wish Ramm would find a way to blur the rear sights like that.

when most games try to create this effect of the blurred sight they just put a 2d image in from of the model. So you see the rear of the run ass blurred (image) but can still see the sights which is part of the model. It works but you can tell its only a image. Also then they counted advertise fully 3d iron sights

But in RL its not the gun that is blured its your eyes that foucus on one part bluring the other it would be stupid be cause if you where looking at the blured part it would still be blured.

Theres a whole lot more that needs fixing.

Anyway nice pics! nice collection.

ya but the game focuses on the sight so even if your looking at another part the game is still focused on the sight. Anyway I was just saying what other games do. I dont think the Unreal 2.5 engine can create advanced effects like the eye focusing on targets.

You could tape a web cam to the gun (puttling a paper towel between the tape and the stock clearly, and work it like that :/

I was thinking of something like that, but might attach it to my shooting glasses instead. Problem is that most webcams are poor quality.

This looks neat though: http://helmetcamera.com
