Made in Brazil Takes Gold at ESWC Counter-Strike

July 2, 2006 - Made in Brazil has won the ESWC Counter Strike. In the grand final Fnatic Team was pushed aside with 16-6, never losing control over the match.

On day two, it was actually Fnatic Team who was the only team to beat the Brazilians 20-10. In the end it was only Germany's Alternate ATTAX who came close to stopping mibr in the semi finals. 21-19 was the final score in that match.

After the yesterday's day of mourning losing in the FIFA World Cup against France, mibr has managed to put a smile on the faces of many Brazilians.

The team takes $ 52,000 in cash prizes home. Fnatic has to settle for $ 36,000.
