Alternative way to purchase the game

I have been trying to purchase the game for 3 days now but I am having a compounding problem with Steam, and their support is less than desirable (hence 3 days waiting so far).

Is there an alternative way to purchase this game online?

When I bought mine, I tried 4 times with one credit card with absolutely no luck. Steam gave me a headache. Then I tried another card, and it went the first time.

Go figure...

I only have one card so Im stuffed. My local Game store doesnt have this in stock so unless I go out of my way to find a copy or order one to be delivered by snail mail, I wont be able to get it.

I always cringe when I find out a really good game review is tainted by the words "through the steam client".

strange, steam support helped me within 2 days , twice.
both times to buy the game again with the same credit card for other people (in my clan)
they block the card automaticly if you try and buy the game for a 2de time (to prevent fraud, seems like a sensable precaution)

and what would be wrong with snail mail delivery?

Thats good news, Im glad you got the support you needed on time. I'm still waiting however for mine.

I found a copy on the shelves in a London GAME shop and have happilly instaleld the game - it's breathtaking.

I'm still going to wait and see how long it takes for Steam to get back to me - out of pure curiousity.
