The grass seems much, much better on Arad than before the patch. In fact I saw a couple of Wehrmachts finest rolling a great big doobie behind a hill. Almost didn't have the heart to shot them with the coaxial. Seroiusly the detail of the ground is much better to me. Anyone else notice the big change in the ground quality or have I been smoking too much Arad Gold?

It is much better. Most realistic terrain I've seen in any multiplayer map in a game to date.

The addition of grass is most welcome, and it looks good too. Certainly helps in creeping up on camped tanks.

it looks cool, but it tends to slow my pc down on large open areas ( the space between north and south villages springs to mind )

yep, all the new changes to Arad are great. the shifting of some of the cap zones and some increased LOS between the N and S Villages has really changed the game play on the map.

i feel the grass is only slightly better it still goes through all the vehicles, and looks pretty unrealistic and 2d. I don't mind though as i don't play this game for graphics but for the excellent gameplay

I'm most happy about the Germans not having that camper-inducing cover right at spawn, and with the forest edges being fixed.
Being able to run through the forest would be cool, but would probably require too much of a lot of people's computers.
