Spotted a custom RO map?

shouldnt be able to just add the map folder youself and add it to the redorchestra.ini as a valid folder for .ROM files?

Odd, I have a AMD 2k, GF4 and 1 gig stick, and The Editor extracted in 3 to 4 minutes on mine
I keep steam on a seperate HD though, and am fantatic in maintainance of my disks and applications on my rig, which probably helps making up the lack of awesome goodies

p.s to your previous post - it appers that my 3 and a half hour loading times were the STEAM's fault...it was loading 2 gigs of editor every time.... solution http://www.redorchestragame.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6799

Do you need the editor to play tha maps though if you get them from playing on a server? I know it wont save them but will you still be able to play?

acctually the maps lack of realism
guards had rifles and no pistols
and prisoners no weapons at all!
