Binocview for Driver/MG-Gunner in Tank

like the topic says
if the driver has binocs ( like every tankcrew has right now) and he looks out of the hull it would be good if he could use them when he is standing still, not takling about while driving because he needs both hands for that

same would go for the MG-Gunner if he has binocs (tankcrew) and could look out of the hull

would do you guys think

Giving these features to all of the tank crew posistions would, infact, be encouraging solo tank play...If each crew posistion didnt have a dif aspect/field of view/abilities then there wouldnt be much need for a commander...
And a 360 view would be moving in the wrong directio so to speak, with a life like tank feel...a tank is supposed to be cramped up and limiting...there would be no point in sneaking up on a tank with a satchel or a faust because he'll be able to see you. The tanks right now...as far as views go...is fine (IMHO).
The only thing id like to see added is a 3rd MG posistion for the IS2...the MG gun located in the back of the tank turet isnt being used atm...and i think it would be nice to see it used...
But back to the binoc views of all the posistions of a tank:
In order to support teamwork in tanks you need a combination of

The diver must always be ready to move out and relocate at the
commanders request...while keeping an eye out for hostiles (however he main job is to drive...not be a watchman.

The MG gunner is there to provide the needed deffence against anti tank personel...aswell as direct fire in the direction of a possible target either out of his line of site or at an armored vihicle, allowing the commander ontop to confirm and place the appropriate fire on the loacation...

The commanders job is just as important...as he is the one who will have the widest and furthest range of sight. He will be the one telling the driver where to move or relocate to and/or what posistion the tank should be in...The commander is the one that will fire the tanks main gun and be incharge of setting rally points...tho this seems like a job fit for a king (or in this case the commander) he is nothing w/o his crew...giving the ability to view long distances to the MG gunner/Driver would take the focus of their intended job away...it would also complicate orders...a 'too many chiefs' sort of thing...
I dont particularly like the idea the much because of the fact that the driver and even more so the MG gunner had no use for a wider field of view or a longer one for that matter...a driver drives, he doesnt need to see where he will be two miles down the road...
And an MG Gunner guns...he fires a heavy rate of a fire but with mid-low accuracy...so giving him a longer view range would be pointless...
As far as a 'look-out' goes...thats the commander's job aswell as the other commanders, on tanks, in the field. They must all look out for eachother. I can see the driver stopping and sticking he head out a bit more to view into his binocs...but as you said...not while driving. the MG gunner just shouldnt tho...
Thx
Peace
