Anti-Aliasing won't activate.

I've been playing RO for 2 weeks or so. And I thought I had AA activated all along. But yesterday I started playing and everything suddenly looked so much better and more detailed, that my only explenation is that AA suddenly kicked in. But I didn't change anything on my ATI card's settings. So I must've done something to make AA activate. After I restarted my PC, everything was gone again.
Does anyone have an explenation for this? Because I want those graphics back

I'm using a ATI Radeon 9600 265mb with latest drivers.

Does your graphic cards driver control AA settings (like Nvidia allows you to set AA preferance independent of game) or are you activating it in game itself?

Or did you perhabs remove "HDR" bloom?

I'm setting AA manual in the Catalyst control center. And I didn't remove bloom.
But who has an ATI card here?
