Hey....my post is also below haha....but just wondering how much time this game actually takes to load...having serious problems here with a loading issue. II usually have to wait 20 minutes to get into practice mode...and I haven't even been able to get into a multiplayer server yet. Please list normal loading times it takes to get into games, and any help is vey much appreciated.

Do a search on load times. There are many GREAT tweaks that help load times. aw hell ill just tell u. in the redorchestra.ini folder (just do a search in MyCOmputer) find any Useprecaching=true and change them all to Useprecaching=false. there are 5 so ya.

30 secs here, about the first in each time.
anything over a minute is really bad. check out the other threads that have info on helping fix this.

yep anything over 1 min is too much, try changing the cachemegs from 32 to 64 and your precache from true to false you can change both in your ro ini file. it should greatly reduce your load times hope this helps.

I did both the changing the cachemegs from 32 to 64 and the precache from true to false and i did not see much difference. I am still "timing out the server" and am not allowed to move and only to shoot. I am wondering why this is my problem and not a game problem...

dont know how it would load slower. check out this .. www.tweakguides.com in perticular the guide on ut2004 that is the engine that runs ro it will tell you all the things to tweak this guy is a god when it comes to getting games to run properly. hope this helpsOlson said:
