You may have heard about a game called Armed Assault by the creators of OFP, but i found its website! Sorry if this has been brought up before, i just came across it and remembered there were some OFP fans at the mod boards so here you go:

Yupp. ArmA should is aid to feature all the content of OFP+red hammer+resistance and an additional island+campaign.

So basically, it is a hefty update and extension to the original OFP. Still, judgeing by the business practics of other publishers, they could have called it OFP 2 AND 3

What Im hoping for is a huge improvement of AI, not that its bad
in OFP, still better then most games but still......

I hope they did not use the same system when moving around inside buildings as OFP did it was horrible!!!!!!!!!

Iam sure they just programed a new part for this new game so you can walk inside with out being hassled.

The clipping bugs seems to be fixed because of the new collision detection system...

I thought the Armed Assualt was the true sequal to OP:F, but codemasters have the copyright to the name "Operation Flashpoint" so when they and BI split, BI had to get another name - Armed Assualt. However, I've heard that codemasters with a new development team will be making OPF 2.
