The falling damage needs tweaking, its just as bad as it was in the mod.

I said it needs tweaking, not chaning to quake 4 . The fact is if you get shot in your arm, and you have the smallest fall, you will die!

they said in an interview that hte falldamage was greatly improved.. ;p

i hate it so much, especially how it is falling in mud and snow.

Sure they have 50 lbs of equip.. I GUESS a fall from 10 feet onto concrete would incompacitate someone then, but definantly not in snow.

Hehe... In the Stalingrad map I always fall down when trying to climb on those girders in that blown up building, and my leg always falls off when I land.

I would not say its "as bad as the mod". I get hurt from running down hills and what not a LOT less. It still happens, but it is more consistant.

The problem with the mod was you could race down one area and get hurt and then race down another area even fast, which was steeper or bumpier and not get hurt at all, even on the same map. So it was inconsistant.

Now at least it seems pretty smoothed over so the same physical limitations apply all over.
