No maps appear in training mode. (err... nowhere actualy)

Greets,

after 'fixing' my ZA problem by uninstalling it. I now have a new major issue. The game menu loads ok, but when I try the 'practice' part, no maps appear (I tried using the map package browsing tool, none appeared there either).

I cannot sellect a map to start a new game.

This happens also when I try to host a game.

When I try joining games, I see that there are about 400 server found, but none are listed visualy.

24 hours, and I still haven't seen how this game looks like, that is one tough packaging if I ever saw one! Off to my 3rd Download.

I have the exact same problem, no servers or maps appear anywhere.

Any kind person know a solution?

Delete your RedOrchestra.ini and User.ini files from the ../RedOrchestra/System directory, then attempt to run the game again.

If the problem persists report back here.

OK just tried that, deleted the x2 .ini files, but it's still the same, it says 400 odd servers found, but does not display them

Am at 68% of the download at aprox 120kb/s (I'll let someone smarter do the math ) I'll report back when I try that.

Meanwhile, here's my system specs (rename zip to txt)

Bummer,
After a fresh download, I manualy removed the two files listed here above (Showed me the EULA when I started the game). Still no list of either maps, or servers. I tried modifying some graphic settings on my card, changed resolution, refresh rate, AA etc...

I don't OC my puter at all btw.

OK tried that, but still no joy.

Just says, Querying master server, query complete, xxx amount of servers found, but none are visible

Does somebody have an IP for a valid, non passworded server, so I can try connecting that way please, or of course any other suggestions.

Are the maplists and server lists rendered in a different way than the other menu parts?

Tried reinstalling DX, omega drivers, sound drivers... still nothing.

Same thing here. Renamed the .ini files. Could connect to IRC channel, IP servers but can't see maps in practice mode nor servers in Internet although the Query server lists the number.

Still no workaround?

Look in the known bugs and fixed thread....

Go to your steam/steamapps/<username>/red orchestra/system folder

and delete all .ucl files. that will make the maps show up

Error: No maps show up on my map list
Fix:
1. Open your RedOrchestra/System Folder
2. Delete all .ucl files
3. Restart Steam and RO

Pretty bad that nobody here read that known bugs and fixes thread before filing a problem. And before trying to find the answer actually
