How "bad" is "reduced gore"?

Being German I'll be restricted to "no gore" or "reduced gore" apparently. So my question to those who have the game already: How much does the reduced gore option take away from the game? Both facts (which actual features disappear) and subjective comments (e.g. "with reduced gore it feels a lot less intense") are welcome!

I believe many Germans(the only ones right?) are upset that they paid full price for a game with not as many effects. I think many forget that...

Well i played the BETA (that was full gore) and now i got the reduced Gore (i guess since the USK didn't rate the Game yet, the DEVs did try to err on the Side of Caution, not a bad thing *g*). The things disappearing are Dismemberment (Arme/Beine/Kopf ab) which really looked gorry (with Bones sticking out and such) and the Blood Mist when someone gets vaporised by Artillery/Tank Rounds, though the latter one is an effect which is only visible for a few Seconds.

Though since dismemberment doesn't happen THAT often and the Blood Mist is only visible for a short time it doesn't take away much. There are still beautifully done Blood Stains on Walls/Floors, Blood Puffs when people get hit and Bloody people who got killed by Grenade Fragments.

Though i might be biased since i like this game and cause i never see how it looks when i make an infantrist into road Pizza with my Tank

The devs answered why we got reduced gore and it seems it was a wrong information they got... now we can hope that we get the full gore version within the next weeks!

Duh that thread is more of why there's reduced gore at all and that people feel fecked over and whose country sucks more. I want to know how bad it is and see some vids and screenies for comparison. And yes i know of the search button i have been here for a while you know.

err dont know. But try this Open the Redorchestra.ini and search for gore. If you find any settings disabled or on a "low lvl"try ajusting it manually. Maybe you can bypass it

There should be an "unoffical" patch made for german players to recive full gore. Each individual person has the choice of what he/she sees, not the government.

in the other thread referenced in this thread it states that full gore affect dismemberment only.
meaning if your not running full gore you will not see dismembered bodies only.
trust me. dealing with dismembered bodies isnt all its cracked up tobe.
