My specs are:

Athlon 64 (venice) 3200+
1.5 gig Kingston pc3200
Gigabyte 7800GT
BenQ 19" LCD

my second rig is

Athlon 64 (newcastle) 3400+
1.5 gig Kingston pc2100
Sapphire X800 pro
BenQ 19" LCD

I'd imagine I'd be able to play 1280x1240 full settings on my first rig "though I'm not certain with AA & AF switched on"
Wondering if the second rig would play high or medium settings, my friend often calls over so we chipped in to buy a second copy ^ ^

I have this weekend managed to 'blow-up' the GF5800 that was in the machine I planned to use for playing RO and have therefore swapped it out for a slightly less capable card... I therefore still hope everything works fine (CS:S, UT2k3 RO etc.. still work fine)

Pentium P4 3.2ghz with HT
1gb PC3200 RAM
256mb Nvidia GF5200 Ultra (PCI version, not AGP)
AC97 Sound (SoundMax Digital Audio - integrated)
200gb HDD (7200rpm, 8mb cache, ATA-133)

Will this rig play RO well?

Will this rig play RO well?

AMD Athlon 1.5ghz =(
512mb ram 333mhz
geforce 5500 fx

Not the best rig i admit but will it play RO with a steady fps?

If not then im thinking of getting a 6600gt or 7800 i think it is, btw im AGP :)

Oh and possibly puttin another 512mb into the board...

Even after these little upgrades, i doubt it will play RO well because of my crappy CPU? :)

After spending a small fortune upgrading my PC I had better be able to play on the highest settings.

My PC spec is:

Athlon 64 X2 4400+ (221MHz FSB = 2.43GHz = 4800+)
ASUS A8N-SLi Premium
2Gb Corsair TwinX XMS PC3500LL (2-3-2-6 1T) @ 442MHz
ATI Radeon X1900XTX (675/800)
Seasonic S12-600 PSU
2x150Gb WD Raptor (RAID 0)
Audigy 2 ZS

If only I had it mate. :(

I can play FEAR and CoD2 etc on full settings @ 1280x1024

I wanted to build a system that could run with everything turned on including 6xAA and 16xAF all with Adaptive Anti-Aliasing. It can just about manage that in most games.

My bank manager wants to kill me though along with my girlfriend :D
