[Crash] Black Screen then Computer Restarts

Im getting a problem where im playing the game just fine at 70+ FPS and then all of the sudden with NO ERRORS and NO BSOD, my monitor just turns black and acts like theres no output from my gfx cards and the computer restarts on its own.

My Idea: Probably the GPUs are overheating? Or going Bad?

My GPUs are two 4870 in crossfire

They usualy get real hot because the fans are going bad since they are so old and eat a lot of dust over the years.. so i have been using a box fan and taking the side panel off of my tower to keep them nice and cool while gaming... so im not sure why they would over heat, they shouldnt be going above 85C when on load with my current setup, but im not sure.

Does anyone know a good GPU Temp monitor i can download and run that will show my Temps while in game?

Is there any way to get Logs for that kind of a "crash" to see what the problem was for sure?

For nvdia i have used rivatuner. Nowadays evga because rivatuner doesn't work with the later drivers.

This year i opened my gtx 260 and cleaned it and adjusted new paste. After this my card runs much cooler. I don't know if you can do this with your cards. Maybe you can find something on youtube.

yea i put new thermal paste on both of them, but the fans are so bad they hardly move enough air..

i havnt had the black screen reset today and i have been playing alot, so i think its ok now.
