@ 135 hours in - Red Orchesta 2 is my best game buy in years

135 hours into RO2 multiplayer and find it to be the most immersive /
challenging / feel-like-you-are-in-the-middle-of-a-WWII-movie /
game I have ever played.

Action-filled beautifully rendered maps, great sound, great visual effects,
and ever challenging multi-player maps. It plays well and never relents in action.

This too > at 135 hours it only cost .29 cents / hour !
An inexpensive way to unwind

After everyone else has moved on to BF3, MW3, got tired of them and moved on to the next big title, I will still play RO2 for 4-5 years - or until my eyesight finally gives in

I too love the game, but I also am finding I love BF3 as well sure it may be arcadey but on hardcore mode its is so immersive and fun. I love both games, I've loved RO since it was a mod and still love it, but I'm glad BF3 is here because it really is the true sequel to BF2. Great games!

Honestly I find ARMA2 to be so realistic that its hard to learn how to even play properly. The game just gives me trouble left and right so I've never really gotten into it. Guess I really need to sit down and try to learn it.

Omaha beach is quite interesting with ~30 players, not so much the beach, but the bocage right behind it.

KF and the RO series are my best buys. Put in well over a thousand hours of RO before it even started tracking on steam, and have close to a thousand on KF. I'm hoping to get that far in this game too!

KF got old after 20 minutes.

RO2 would be better if it didn't tell you where the enemy was, enemy weapons weren't available at spawn, and the maps weren't arbitrary (to name a few).

RO2 is ridiculously easy, and the replayability is just slightly better than KF.

Never said "best game in years" - said it was my "buy of the year".

It's the best new WWII game I've ever played.
The RO1 / Darkest Hours / Mar Nostrum / CC RO1 mods being my close next favorites.

The 64 multi-player Spartanovka experience is found nowhere else.
