Mosin Nagant Vs. Kar98k.

Wow, thanks for the response guys. It's great to hear your opinions. I have to agree though, I seem to be much more accurate with the Mosin but get kills easier/quicker with the Kar... Hmm. Could it be a coincidence or something more? :IS2:

My accuracy with the kar98 has gone to hell since I got to lvl 50 and the front sight hood was removed so I stick with the mosin at the moment.

There's probably nothing in it, but I tend to think the k98 has a better sight on it.

I've always preferred the Mosin myself I like the looks of the gun, and prefer the sound it makes when firing. I don't know why specifically - maybe it's because I don't like the "spit" or hiss that the Kar98 produces? I also feel more comfortable with the MN iron sights, again, not entirely sure why! lol

EDIT: On a related note... I don't have much interest in guns, but would love to fire either a MN or K98 in real life. I think the problem would be my location - is there anywhere in the UK that I can go along and fire these weapons? Thanks in advance for any answers

You'd have to know someone who has one and get them to let you fire it wherever they go shooting.

Either. They're both pretty much the same, it all comes down to preference based on audio and cosmetic virtues.

Not like we have a Lee Enfield to select. Now that would have an advantage

My 91/30 is named "Mozy" my Kar98 doesnt have a name. 'Nuff said.

I love both. I am more used to the Mosin but the K98 is nice... in theory the caliber is slightly bigger for the german one...
