Yes, but you are forgetting that tomorrow and the day after is the jewish "Yum kippur". and u can't force someone to work on that day. just need to find one jewish dev, and they got an almost workfree weekend

u know that ur numbers are meaningless?
30.09. - 02.10. was friday-sunday = weekend where player numbers are always higher
the 03.10. was national Holiday in germany (where some huge amounts of playerbase are from)
and sure some play less because they know stats are going to be reseted soon and some play battlefield beta currently because its free and is shut down on 09.10.
so we will probably see an increase of playerbase after bf beta is over its weekend again and the stats are reseted
its better when they test the patch before release otherwise some kiddies will come to forums and do endless complains again

They're just Stalin. Steam games are notorious for weekend events, and the the whole *reset + double points* thing seems like it would fit the bill.
