Why am I forced to mute several people every time i join a server

You aren't forced to listen to anyone, just mute your speakers before joining the game.

thats the problem, you cant disable voip in options, you have to mute people every time

They are aware that you can't turn VOIP off, but it's not constantly whining on the forum that's going to help, is it? Post it in the suggestions section or something, so that they are aware of it, but don't make stupid theards like this complaining constantly about how the game works.
If you KNOW you can't turn off VOIP before (which I think you can, at least, mute VOIP) don't make a theard complaining about it, suggest the change, or report it as an error, I don't know.
But please, stop with this stupid pointless theards in which you don't ask a question or request help, but just complain.

Sometimes it drives me nuts listening to someone constantly giving orders, in a clan fight or private server thats superb, but on public servers they can become a nuisance.
Oh I'm an old RO player who loves realism...just not some of the droning, monotone tones of someone all the way through the game.

I always turn of VOIP in ALL games, it ruins the atmosphere. Old school binds and text FTW.
The only voice I want to hear is, Angriif, angriff soldat. Fur Deutschland etc.

because that is not currently an option in the game menus
welcome to the internetz. try playing on admined servers that dont tolerate that kind of behavour.

The only people i hear on VOIP are people trying to use teamwork, which is rare unfortunately. Shame on them eh.

The trick is to find a server which is mostly populated by serious players. It is hard to find such a server though, which also runs with the settings you like.

iv heard ones guy trying to use teamwork, he got jumped by kids and conversation on VOIP quickly turned into gay talk (that is for some reason very popular with kids on internet this days)

It's a big issue when the problem the said kids are talking about has been posted several times before, and yet they, and you, come here creating constant new theards with no contribute at all to anything except to the constant whining.
