I thought we were supposed to have a "Campaign" game mode that presented us with a map of Stalingrad, and each team got to choose where to attack and how many reinforcement points to spend on each battle. Is this even in the game? No servers are playing it, and nobody is even talking about it.

I haven't heard about this but my god what an epic idea
In the server browser filters, there is a section where you can choose "Game Mode: Campaign"... but there are 0 servers with it enabled.

ya this multiplayer mode would was suppose to be a persistent battlefield containing all our 10 maps where u can choose to go defend or capture one in particular those battle were made to last 4 hour approx

I was thinking too about what happened with the campaing mode and why it is on the servers filters but when there are not any campaing serves runing ... I will love that mode and I was sure that th game had it .

Good, this is what online wargames have been missing. A campaign mode where your victories and defeats matter. Add in supply and historical situation, and this will be perfect.
I'm sure it's going to end up rather simplistic in implementation, but I think it might be interesting. We still don't know one way or the other whether it's in the game yet. Has anyone tried?

May be a DLC thing. TWI has been mostly hammering out bugs so I don't imagine campaign will be seen for a bit.
I recall a thread about a week before the beta ended, in which somebody asked "TWI, we haven't heard what's going to be in the final release?" and a dev gave a link that listed a bunch of features... campaign mode included.
